A Night with the Lipa Choral Ensemble
It was a typical December night for Batanguenos–the air was chilly, and it was even colder inside SM Lipa Cinema 3. Lines of people extend from the theater’s entrance towards the escalators… and they’re not lining up for a movie. The Lipa Choral Ensemble with Choir Master Eric Kalaw will be performing that night, and excitement can be felt both by ticketholders who has eagerly anticipated this full-house event, and by the performers, who has been practicing since August for this evening of nothing but great music.
These concerts are very rare events, and we were very lucky, or shall I say blessed, to be chosen as the official photographers of the concert. It was definitely a night to remember, listening to uplifting and soulful music. This goes without mentioning the great food(which was free), the friendly production staff, the enthusiastic crowd, and the designed-for-acoustics venue. It was also nice meeting Mr. Eddie Segismundo, the “Tito” of everybody, and who in just two nights became our Tito as well.
